Digital tools built to respect your privacy and time

CoreBasics was born to replace slow, intrusive converters with fast, free, client-side web utilities where your files never leave your device.

Why we built CoreBasics

Every day, millions of people need to perform simple tasks: compress an image for an email, sign or merge a PDF document, create an avatar for Discord, or extract a color palette. However, the modern web has made these everyday actions frustrating.

Most online converters force users to upload sensitive contracts and personal photos to unknown cloud servers, wait in artificial queues, install suspicious desktop software, or hit aggressive paywalls after processing just two files.

We believed there was a better way: harness the computing power of modern browsers to run everything locally, safely, and instantaneously.

Technical Architecture

Zero-Upload Engineering: Client-Side First

CoreBasics is built on modern web standards including WebAssembly (Wasm), Web Workers, HTML5 Canvas, and client-side machine learning via ONNX Runtime Web. When you compress a 50 MB PDF or remove the background of an ultra-high-resolution photo, the entire workload is executed by your own computer or smartphone CPU and GPU.

Our Core Principles

Privacy First

We do not store your files because we cannot see them. There are no databases with your sensitive documents.

Speed & Simplicity

No registrations, no recaptchas, no countdowns. Open the tool, drop your file, and get your result in seconds.

Transparency

CoreBasics is sustained through non-intrusive advertising (Google AdSense) to keep all tools free for everyone.

Who is behind CoreBasics?

CoreBasics is maintained by an independent group of software engineers, designers, and web enthusiasts dedicated to building fast, respectful software. We continuously improve our algorithms, add new format converters, and monitor web standards to ensure maximum compatibility across browsers.
